HISTORY
Established in 1984, Prepress began as a service provider to magazines and catalogs to convert their camera-ready art boards into plate-ready film and color proofs for printers throughout the United States. As the digital revolution changed the way we approached the creation of magazines and catalogs, Prepress evolved as well. By 2001, we were no longer working in film and had converted completely to computer-to-plate technology. In addition, at this time, we added short-run and on-demand printing capabilities, a digital photography studio and equipment geared to fine art reproduction. As the needs of our clientele shifted and changed, we also adapted in order to provide the most up-to-date services. That approach still holds true today.
